Day of Event
JOG A THON will look a little different this year. By popular demand we took away laps for donations. This was confusing for donors and led to inaccurate total predictions. All donations are flat this year. We are still counting laps for those that want to run for fun or earn a beautiful medal. Each grade will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. These medals will be awarded at the December assembly.
There will be TWO tracks at JOG A THON. The inner track will have adults marking laps on shirts with red sharpies. Students that wish to enter the lap competition will report to the “Lap Counting Booth” after the scheduled run time.
The outer track will be a FUN RUN!!! Our DJ will instruct you on what to do. STOP and dance! Stop and sing! Walk sideways! Who knows?? The last 2 minutes will have bubbles! More surprises to come!

PRIZES
Each account will be reviewed to calculate all prizes. The total amount fundraised on the account will be divided by the number of students listed.
They will each be assigned their own prize amount. This will count towards individual prizes as well as class, grade, and school. Please make sure
your information is correct. The students name must be listed on the account. Medals and Trophies will be distributed at the December assembly.
Individual prizes will be handed out the last week of September (Custom may take longer). If your child has a check donation or a sponsor donation
it will NOT be reflected online. We have a detailed spreadsheet.

FAQ
Do I have to include a TIP in my online donation? If I don’t will DEPTA have to pay any more?
NO!!!! You do not need to include a tip. Please let your family members know. This is not a function they can remove for us. But please know that you DO NOT need to add a tip.
My child’ s total on the website is not correct.
Totals will not reflect checks, sponsor donations, and other offline donations. We are keeping a running total. Fundraising leaders will be posted on our website and announced at school. If you have questions email: JoinDEPTA@gmail.com
Grandma sent a check for my child’s donation, Will that count and how do I turn it in?
Yes! We take checks- Please drop off at the front office. Include your child’s name and teacher. We will add the total to the prize spreadsheet.
My child is not participating in the online fundraiser will they still receive a Spirit Wear Shirt?
YES - All students & staff- But we encourage all students to register and have fun raising the funds we need for amazing curriculum, PE Equipment and so much more!
SIBLINGS at Double Eagle
I tried to register my children, but I couldn’t use the same E-mail.
If you choose to have them on separate accounts you will need to use different E-mail accounts.
I tried to use the same contacts across all my kids accounts, but it gave me an error.
The system will not allow the same contact to be loaded twice.
One way to send both accounts to friends and family is to send the link or QR.
An easy alternative is to add all siblings to one account. This makes it easier for your contacts to donate with one link. Please note the total on the account will be divided by the number of children on the account. This is how prize levels will be calculated. Each name needs to be listed on the account to receive prizes.
